Joining forces across the Atlantic

Over the past several months, the GolfNow Technology Team has been working with our colleagues in Belfast to move the Teeofftimes.co.uk application into an existing, unified system that will benefit golfers and courses on both sides of the pond.

This common foundation is important for a number of reasons, including an improved golf course presence on the sites and mobile apps. Plus, the GolfNow system will allow for better communication with golfers and even better tee time recommendations.

Speaking of the app, merging these two sites will also lead to the development of a new-and-improved GolfNow app, making it easier for golfers to book on the go and driving even more rounds for course partners in the U.S., U.K., Ireland and beyond.

Look for more news about coming enhancements throughout 2017.

Kicking off 2017 in Orlando

Matt Ginella interviews Shannon Smith about Rams Hill GC, Golf Advisor’s top course for 2016.

Thousands of your fellow golf course owners and operators from around the world descended on Orlando, Fla., for the 2017 PGA Merchandise Show, which provided an unmatched opportunity to meet with manufacturers, suppliers and service providers. More than 40,000 industry professionals spent the event exploring the offerings from over 1,000 exhibitors packed into the 1-million-square-foot exhibition space.

GolfNow was right in the mix, offering demos and presentations about our latest technologies and services designed to maximize your efficiency and profitability. The GolfNow Business team held more than 200 meetings during the event, in addition to helping Golf Advisor announce its anticipated list of the Top 50 Courses in the U.S. live on Golf Channel.

Additionally, with its stage next door, we were able to work with Golf Channel during the Show to arrange interviews on Morning Drive with several of our key partners, including Billy Casper Golf CEO and Chairman Peter Hill and Longitudes Group President and Owner Sara Killeen.

If you weren’t able to make the trek to Orlando, though, you can still get up-to-date information about new features within Ride and Plus, as well as demonstrations of the latest Reservations functions, by contacting your GolfNow representative today or visiting the GolfNow Business website.
