Through an immersive viewer concept focused solely on one aspect of golf, Golf Channel will employ all of its media platforms—including GolfNow—during the week of Oct. 9 to educate its viewers on every element of the short game – all designed to help them improve scoring and enjoy playing the game more. Wedge Week, presented by Cleveland Golf, will feature five days of themed programming, digital content and promotion, complemented by commerce opportunities with the help of newly acquired Revolution Golf, golf’s largest direct-to-consumer digital platform.
What many of the top instructors call the key to lower scores, the short game will be the focus across all Golf Channel platforms during the week, including a special edition of School of Golf. Hosts Martin Hall and Blair O’Neal will join short-game guru Dave Pelz on location at the one-of-a-kind Pelz Ranch and Austin, Texas, where they will discuss and offer expert tips for all shots 50 yards and closer. Morning Drive and GolfChannel.com also will feature their own short-game content.
