Cancelling a customer’s membership

Available to:  Admins
Optional Permissions Required:  None
System Settings Required:  None

You can cancel a customer’s membership from the Membership tab of his/her customer profileIf the membership has remaining benefits, you can choose to allow the customer to redeem any remaining benefits or revoke them.

  1. Select the Customers tab
  2. Either search for the customer whose membership you’d like to cancel or select View All Customers
  3. Once you’ve selected the golfer whose membership you’d like to cancel choose the Membership Plans tabmember1
  4. Once you are in the Membership Plans tab, find the plan you would like to remove and click the Cancel Membership buttonmember2
  5. Once you’ve clicked Cancel Membership you will then choose if you would like to cancel the membership immediately or after a specific date
    1. Choose Immediately or after – Date
    2. Select Cancellation  Reason from drop down menu (these can be customized in System Settings | Membership Settings)
    3. To revoke remaining benefits, select Accrued benefits are expired and lost. The customer will not be able to use membership benefits as a form of payment for applicable services, products, or packages.
    4. To allow the customer to redeem remaining benefits, select Accrued benefits remain and can be used in the future. The customer will be able to use his/her remaining benefits as a form of payment in the future.
    5. Click Cancel Membership
