How to Define Security Levels

In this tutorial, you will learn how to define security levels.

Security levels allow you to control user access to different parts of the software. Most facilities set level 5 for management, level 3 for cashiers, and level 1 for a view-only user.

Security Levels

  1. Setup | Options
  2. Select System | Security to define security levels for tee sheet features.
  3. Select Point of Sale | Security to define security levels for point of sale features.

  • Move across the tabs on the top of this window to open security levels for every feature and screen available in GolfNow Reservations.
  • Define levels for Home Tab, Setup Tab, Utilities Tab, E-Tools Tab, Reports Tab, Third-Party Tab, Cust. Details Tab, Tee Sheet Tab.
  • Click OK to save changes.

Point of Sale Security

  • Move across the tabs on top to define security levels for all Point of Sale features.
  • Define security levels for the Home Tab, Setup Tab, utilities Tab, Reports Tab, and Point of Sale Tab.
  • Click OK to save changes.
