Issuing Advance and Consignment Tickets

Advance tickets can be issued as a pre-paid voucher for single-entry admission. Consignment tickets are issued to agencies that have been given the responsibility to care for and sell on behalf of the consignor. If such tickets are available, you can issue them from several locations in the POS:

  • From the Quantity and SKU fields in the Quick Items, Items by , or Keypad tab.
  • In the Quick Items tab as a quick item.

The procedures presented in this section use the Quick Items tab as the context. Depending on your system settings, the quick item button for issuing tickets may be labelled differently. For additional setup details for tickets, please consult your system administrator.

Issuing Advance Tickets

1. In the Quick Items tab, click Issue Advance Tickets.
2. The Issue Advance Tickets page appears.
3. In the Quantity box, enter the desired ticket quantity.
4. In the Event date box, enter the date of the event.
5. Enter the expiry date in the Valid through box, then click Issue.
6. Advanced Ticket item is added to the transaction grid.

Issuing Consignment Tickets

1. In the Quick Items tab, click Issue Consignment Tickets.
2. The Issue Consignment Tickets page appears.
3. In the Quantity box, enter the desired ticket quantity to be consigned.
4. Enter Valid through box, enter the expiry date with the calendar pop-up, then click Issue.
5. Issue Consignment Ticket item is added to the transaction grid.
