Refunding deposits

Available to: Admins, Reservationists
Optional Permissions Required: None
System Settings Required: None

Deposits are not automatically refunded when an appointment is cancelled. If an appointment with a deposit is cancelled, refund the deposit manually. To refund a deposit:

  1. Go to the customer’s profile.
  2. Click on the Orders tab of the profile.
  3. Find the order for the deposit in the orders list.
  4. Click the refund icon Refunding deposits-1 in the Actions column.
  5. Review the View Order page. Make sure the refund item and refund methods are correct.
  6. Click Submit Refund.
