How to Setup Fee Matrix

In this tutorial, you will learn how to setup the fee matrix.

The fee matrix determines the default green fee sales item to charge a customer from the tee sheet based on customer type and course. A properly setup fee matrix will help limit mistakes at the Point of Sale and speed up the checking out process for both employees and customers.

Simple Method

  1. Setup | Tee Sheet Setup | Fees

  2. Use the Simple setup method to select the fee to be primed in the shopping cart for each course and customer type combination.
  3. Click the When Customer Type… dropdown and select the first Customer Type
  4. Move to Step 2; click the Plays on Course… dropdown and select the first course on the list.
  5. Move to Step 3; click the Use Fee… dropdown and select the appropriate green fee sales item to charge this customer type and course combination.
  6. Move to Step 2; click the Plays on Course… dropdown and select the next course on the list.
  7. Repeat Step 5.
  8. Once all course and fee combinations are selected for the Customer Type, move to Step 1 and select the next Customer Type on the list.
  9. Repeat for all Customer Type, Course, and Fee combinations.
  10. Click OK to Save

Advanced Method

  1. Setup | Tee Sheet Setup | Fees

  2. Click Advanced on the left.
  3. Move down the Fee column, select the appropriate fee for each Course and Customer Type combination. This method might be preferred for older GolfNow Reservations users.

  4. Click OK to Save Changes
