How to Setup Social Media Integrations

In this tutorial, you will learn how to setup GolfNow Internet social media integrations (Facebook and Twitter).

  1. Log on to dashboard.teeitup.com
  2. Click Booking Engine
  3. Click Configure Booking Engine
  4. Click Social Media
  5. Change Integration Active to “Yes”
  6. Type in your Twitter handle without the @ symbol
  7. Type in your complete Facebook Fan Page URL
  8. If you do not have a Facebook or Twitter page, just leave that area blank.
  9. Click Save changes

Customer Interface

The customer will book his or her tee time as they normally would. Once the customer gets to the “confirmation page” of the tee time, your Facebook and Twitter icons will show up and lead him or her to your page.

When a customer chooses to Tweet about his or her tee time, they will share the following tweet to their followers: “I will be golfing today at Your Golf Course, www.yourgolfcoursename.com via @yourgolfcourse (Items in red will appear with your facility’s name).

When the customer hits the Facebook “Like Button”, he or she will now follow your Facebook page.

Forward Confirmation Via Email

Customers can forward their tee time information via email directly from the confirmation page.
