How to Use the Customer Pick List

In this tutorial, you will learn how to use the customer pick list (email marketing).

If you send an e-mail marketing blast to your customers that unexpectedly stops, follow this procedure to send the e-mail blast again, but without sending duplicate e-mails to the customers that received it the first time.

  1. Login to GolfNow Reservations
  2. E-Tools | History
  3. Select the Start Date and End Date to the day that you sent the e-mail blast.
  4. Since e-mail blasts send in alphabetical order to customers, you will be able to see the last customer that you successfully sent the e-mail blast to.
  5. Take note of this customer’s name.
  6. Click Close
  7. E-Tools | Marketing
  8. Set up your e-mail blast again and proceed to the Customer Pick List.
  9. Right-click in the Customer Pick list
  10. Select List
  11. Select Deselect All

  12. Find the first customer that you need to re-send the e-mail to and left-click the cell to the left of the checkbox (see below image) for this customer’s name. This will highlight the entire row.

  13. Scroll all the way down to the end of the customer pick list.
  14. While holding down the Shift key on your keyboard, left-click the cell to the left of the checkbox for the last customer’s name. This will highlight all rows of customers between the first customer and the last customer.
  15. Right-click on any of the highlighted area.
  16. Select Highlighted, then Select All. This will select all of the highlighted customers to receive the email.
  17. Proceed with sending email piece.
